A PEOPLE ROOTED IN CHRIST

Rooted in Christ.
Formed for life.

The Anchored is a community of followers of Jesus being rooted in Christ, formed into maturity, and equipped to boldly live out their faith in the world.

A DIFFERENT EXPRESSION OF CHURCH

You can know the language of faith and still need to be formed for the life in front of you.

Following Jesus was never meant to end with believing the right things, attending a gathering, or consuming Christian teaching. It is a life of becoming who you were created to be — being formed by Christ, together with His people, into the kind of people who can faithfully represent Him in the world.

People who know God for themselves, are secure in who they are in Christ, grow into maturity, walk with conviction, love well, and live faithfully wherever He sends them. The Anchored exists to help form that kind of people.

Formation

Knowing who you are
in Christ is only the
beginning.

Formation is when the truth of Christ begins to shape the way you actually live.

WAYS TO ENGAGE
The Anchor Check

WHERE ARE YOU
actually anchored?

Following Jesus is about more than what you believe. The Anchor Check is a short, honest assessment designed to reveal where your faith has taken root, where your formation may be incomplete, and where God may be inviting you to grow.

WHY WE EXIST

Faith that only works
on Sunday isn't fully
formed yet.

Too many Christians know what to believe but have never been formed to live it. Following Jesus was never meant to produce people who are only confident inside church environments.

We exist to help people become deeply rooted in Christ, mature in character, secure in identity and equipped to faithfully follow Jesus in the realities of everyday life.

STORIES OF FORMATION

You begin to notice it
in ordinary life.

Formation becomes visible in how we relate to God, ourselves, how we respond when we're misunderstood, how we make difficult decisions, how we handle pressure, how we love people, and how faithfully we follow Jesus when nobody is watching.
These are stories of people becoming rooted in Christ and learning to live from that place.

Knowing God for Yourself
I now see myself as a formidable force because I understand my identity in God. Even in a troubled environment, I have peace because I know God has already won the victory for me. Fear no longer has a hold over me. I am learning to subject every negative voice that tries to diminish who I am in Christ to the truth of God’s Word.
